Sick duckling
I woke up to a sick duckling this morning. I've had this one and another duckling since Thurs. The little chocolate one has looked weak since I got them. This morning it seems like he is paralyzed on his right side. Can't stand on his right leg and his neck is crooked, also looks like he can't... -
Help interpret findings of our amateur autopsy...
While i've never done an autopsy on a chicken, it could have been egg bound, it might cause the blood to clot. I am sorry for your loss tho- RedComet

Five day old chick has poop stuck to bottom??
It's called pasting, it can be caused by chicks getting chilled or overheating. You can run a little warm water over its vent to help loosen up the poop and then gently pick it off. You may have to pick a little at a time, just make sure your careful.Good luck!- RedComet

What breed is my bantam roo????
He does have red earlobes. I'm not sure if he came from a hatchery, i found him running loose with my hens thanksgiving morning....I know the pics are not any better, taken from my cell, does anyone know how to zoom in and make it more clear?- RedComet

I thought Dutch chickens had white earlobes?? Maybe i'm wrong about that tho. I was thinking Old English, i will try to get better pics today. Thanks so far- RedComet
