    compost with mulch and chickens?

    Two cities around me let you get all the mulch you want. Right now we have a pile just in the yard composting ( we do put our grass and veggie scraps in it too). After reading things on this sight about letting your chickens help with the composting, I was wondering if it needs to be soft...
