Happy Memorial day. Is everyone BBQing? We are having hamburgers, Brats, tater salad, pasta salad, baked beans, devilied eggs, cake and smores. Whew....I didn't realize how much we were having until I just now listed it all.
We had chicken curry, garlic bread and salad for dinner. Brownies and ice cream with hot fudge for dessert..... much later now and tums is about to become "fourth meal"

I think we are having curry chicken tonight. My daughter is making it for us, she's 17 and just starting to show an interest in cooking.... FINALLY!! yay!

We had cabbage and noodles, baked carrots and cherry dump cake. It was my best friends birthday and I asked her what she wanted me to make...this was her choice. lol

I didn't make anything special for dinner tonight. I was craving pancakes, so I made some... my hubby baked some red potatoes in the oven with an egg mixture and topped it with pepper jack...

At 7 pm, it's still 89 degrees. The avg high for my city at this time of the year is 74. Today beat the previous record that was set over 50 years...
We had a bbq with friends over again... sausage dogs, hamburgers, steak, baked beans, potato salad, fresh pineapple and melon, deviled eggs, chips, pop, beer...the works. ...and now, Tums.

We are having Sausage, cabbage and homemade noodles.
My daughter is 17 and watched it with me yesterday, she had tears in her eyes, as did I. We all love a good underdog story like that. It's very heart warming and it makes you forget about some of the ugly things going on in the world right now. GO SUSAN!!
I'm on my second Kodak easyshare camera. I liked the older one a little better for indoor pics, this one is a V803, it's smaller and fits in my pocket...but again I like the larger older one that I could get a good grip on. I sell items on ebay and wore the old one out..I must have taken...
