    My ducks are free to wonder on 1 acre fenced in area, with a pond. They are secured in a smaller area at night, with a house that has pine shavings for bedding. Her bottom side drags on the ground wherever she goes. Is this normal?

    I have a Rouen female, that has worn all of her feathers off her bottom side. Is this normal?? Seems like it would be very uncomfortable, is there a possibility of infection? Is there any way to prevent this???

    The Rowen Drake is 2, the Pekin's are just 3 months. I don't know what sex they are.

    My Brown Rowen is still chasing, & pulling feathers out of the Peking ducks, it has been 3 weeks. We put the Peking ducks in a dog crate at night,so that they are safe from Fred, hopping he will get used to them. Help, its not working???

    Thank you for the reply. We have been trying to keep them seperate, and yes we did use the dog crate idea. I guess it will just take time then?

    I have a pair of Brown Rouen Ducks. 2 days ago someone brought us 2 young pekin ducks, my drake keeps chasing the young ones, pulling feathers, jumping on top, holding their necks, and will just not stop.
