    Hi from Devon, England UK

Hi from soggy Somerset. I have had my two Rhode Rocks for 6 weeks and really enjoying them. One of them lays a shell less egg every few days which I am working on. Today is the first fine day we have had in weeks so the run has dried up a bit at last as even the covered portion became mud. I am...

    anyone in England ?

Many thanks for info. I let the girls out in the garden with me as much as I can. We have a Sottie and a Westie that are not sure what to make of the hens so I am keeping a close eye on them at all times. If only the weather would calm down!

    anyone in England ?

Hi from soggy Somerset! Had my first two chickens for two weeks now and love them to bits. A bit worried about the run though as now just packed mud due to all the rain. I am trying to decide what to use on the floor which is half covered and half open to the rain. Anyone got any ideas?

    Rat Advice, please.

I have only had my two chucks for 6 days and we have a brown rat that is getting into the run but not the coop during the night. We have set rat traps in the hope that we will catch him and take him miles away. No joy yet. I want to know if he will attack my hens that are fairly large. Help please:/

    Very new newbie

Hi and thank you for your welcome. Today's trial is a brown rat already!!! It came skipping up to the coop around 4pm yesterday but my Scottie saw it off. He managed to dig into the run last night though regardless of the sensor light. We are tooled up and ready for action today.
