    Chicken poop

The only thing she does that concerns me otherwise is the head shaking. She’s had some wheezing but it seems to have subsided.

    Chicken poop

One of my chickens has mostly dark yellow, loose poop. I’ve also seen dark brown/black loose poop. And some has red in it but those are not loose. what do I do? All are eating and drinking normally. Poop pic of the yellow I’m seeing the most. It’s been going on on and off since I got them 6...

Mine has this too and I’m not sure if I need to do something about it. She sounds very crackly.

    Sick chicken

I started a new one because I wasn’t getting any responses. They get a show/grow crumble and I just started giving grit yesterday. I also added ACV to the water as of this morning. I haven’t seen her poop in the last few days. I did see some that was looser and darker brown in color last...

    Sick chicken

I posted yesterday about how a couple of my chickens were extending their neck and swallowing. One in particular did it about a dozen times in a short period. I was concerned about her crop, so I picked her up this evening and it did not feel hard. It felt soft (I could have been missing the...

    Gapeworm? Respiratory infection?

@Eggcessive What do you recommend if her crop is full? Do I try to empty? Or can I give her something to help it empty?

    Gapeworm? Respiratory infection?

I can try to check the crops when I get home - I guess when I saw a second chicken doing it it made me question if it’s the crop since for 2 to have the issue at the same time seemed a little odd to me. But I have given them some watermelon and have not given grit. I’ll definitely start...

    Gapeworm? Respiratory infection?

I noticed this morning that my 11/12 week old girl kept extending her neck and opening her mouth. She did it probably a dozen times in a row. I started googling and figured it could be a crop thing. Then I tried to go get it on video but she wasn’t doing it. I watched the video a bit later...
