Your coop looks a lot like a prettier, hot weather version of my coop CorporateGranola. Did you use the Garden Coop plans?

I'm no expert, but I have read about Gapeworm and Coccidiosis which have symptoms similar to what you describe. Anybody know more?

Ooooh! Thanks everyone, I think she could very well be part Cochin. I also got a Sizzle hen, Lefty, from the same farm. The lady seemed to have A LOT of birds and who knows what sort of rounds the roosters were making! Here's a picture of Lefty the Sizzle.

I got this beautiful little chicken, Squid, from a nearby farm when she was approximately one month old this past March. They said she was a Silkie, but she has never fluffed out. She has five toes and fully feathered legs and feet, turquoise earlobes, mulberry wattles and the correct type...
