    also, where are you getting your starter feed? I got mine at otter co-op feed in langley, but i want to find somewhere closer and regarding potential health issues - did you find a place to purchase medication for in case the chicks get coccidiosis?

    Very cool! I just picked up my chicks - my current set up is a brooder heatplate type from amazon, big cardboard box with wood shavings, a cardboard home made feeder, and water with some apple cider vinegar. i got my chicks from junecreekfarm in langley - it was a good experience overall
