Oooh fun! I would say the first is the golden pearl? Having side by side pics really helps thank you! Certainly makes them look less alike. I haven’t even started thinking about the fact that they can be two morphs 🤣 like cinnamon & golden pearl at the same time haha -

Thankyou! How do you tell the golden pearl from the wildtype in females? I can see the pattern on the head is different (more of a dark cap on the wildtype) but the rest of the bird looks so similar to me 😅 I’m sure it’s just my untrained eye but interested to see what traits I’m overlooking -

Aw that really sucks! My hen isn’t afraid of the male that pecks her, she doesn’t seem to care at all which is weird.. Maybe Leo & Speckles would accept new mates if they can’t see or hear each other for a bit?? Might be keeping their spark alive hahah -

Thankyou @Nabiki & @CliftonQuail for the info & advice! Hopefully I’ve got at least 1 male in the brooder and when he’s of age I’ll introduce the males after cleaning and rearranging & hopefully that helps the dynamic and stops the feather pecking! Fingers crossed 😅 -
