I'd send you eggs as well. My girls are from Ann Charles, and my roo is from Ann Horsman. I gave a local 10 eggs to test hatch for me. He got a 60% hatch rate.
Beyond that what colors do you see these babies being? I see 2 black. The grayish one, not sure if it'll be blue or recessive white...
Well, they'll be hens in 2 months. I'm putting in another dozen of mine along with some hatching eggs from another breeder. I currently have 7 pullets and 2 cockerels. 3 pullets and 1 cockerel are 18 weeks old. They'll be laying in the next 4 weeks or so, although they are much smaller at that...
Well, River still isn't fertile, or the roo doesn't like her. 6 Bresse chicks hatched over the weekend. 2 never developed, and 17 died before hatch day, so I have to remove them tonight.

I had 10 Araucana eggs shipped this year. 3 hatched, and are currently 2 weeks old and seem to be thriving thus far. Bresse were 2 weeks old when I got them somewhat locally.
Once I moved them to the coop however, 7 escaped and my puppy killed them. I have 8 of my originals after I gave 4...
I'll be interested in seeing any following posts. I have 17 Bresse, and plan to keep a flock for future meat birds. I was thinking of crossing in the future with Araucana for their personality.
At last I have finally finished reading all 220 pages. I recently acquired 18 Bresse chicks from Keith Loeffler. I happen to live in NC, so I was able to pick up my chicks. I'm glad I was able to drive and not have them shipped.
I'm also very glad I was able to read how they should be...
