Hello everyone, I am new to BYC and to chickens in general. I just bought a house on an acre and want to get chickens. I was curious if anyone here has any experience or advice on applying to the Fortville Town Council for an exception to the town's ordinance against chickens.

Sorry to come in about 5 years late to this, but I am about to move into Fortville city limits on an acre at the edge of town. I was hoping to get backyard chickens in the spring. Does anybody know what the odds are that an exception would be granted if I apply to the Town Council?
