Middle of March I bought 12 pullets. The girl at tractor supply had no idea what kind they were. Now that they have their color and markings can anyone tell me what breed they are? All 12 are the same colors, some have more brown than white and vice versa.
I just had my driveway done with asphalt millings and my chickens keep trying to eat it. Is this going to kill them? They free range and I don't have a fenced in area to keep them in. PLEASE HELP!!
I'm still approximately about 5 weeks out or so of transferring my chicks to the coop. I read that it's necessary to close off all nesting boxes and keep them locked in the coop for a day or 2 to get them accustomed to using the roosts and not sleep in the boxes. Is this what needs to be done...
