Hey team!
Just thought I would share my new home made coop - about $350 AUD of materials and about 10 hours labour.
Just waiting on the chicken cup feeders to attach to the 25 litre drum but it also has 3 nesting boxes as well as a coop inside the coop in case any of my girls go broody and we...
I’ve noticed they have the green shine on their feathers the same as the australorp at the back of the first photo? Do copper Marans get the same thing? :)

Hi all!
So I’ve got 7 healthy pulleys (all 6 months old) but two of them are the most inquisitive, affectionate and interesting chickens I’ve ever seen.

She’s about 14-16 weeks old and nice and healthy.

Will update with her progress in the morning
She is under a lamp at the moment and seems to like just sitting under the heat - as I’ve said only betadine is on it at the moment or I’ve also got sudocrem or dermaid (hydrocortisone 1%).. would this help?
I’m not close to any vets or anything so Im having to make do with what I have around...
Alright she’s had a bit more water now.
I cleaned her back with some salt water and put a bit more betadine on her back and wounds.
Unfortunately my medicine cabinet is limited at that.
I have read that I can put tumeric powder on her wounds and this will really help as an antibiotic and...
