    Thank you so much, after reading it, it feels very much like Doh!! Why didn't I think of this? I have a brahma being bullied by a bantam araucana and it's really frustrating because she (my brahma) now steers clear of all my hens, and wanders the garden by herself. I am going to give this a try...

    I think i have internal pip.

    One was a quitter. My guess day 18ish.. one did hatch yes.. but she was a day early I think as her yolk wasnt fully absorbed. She passed.. I cried my eyes out and have now refused to ever hatch again Thank you for your reply xxxx

    Today is day 21. I candled very gently. The egg I thought was no good made a very slight movement so straight back in. The other I knew was alive I checked too. The air cell has grown quite a bit and the dark mass inside is in the air cell.. couldnt make out a beak just round mass is this...
