Hi everyone, I am getting ready to order some eggs from Florida and they will be in transit for 3 days (if USPS has their crap together). There will only be 8 eggs and I want to know if anyone here has ordered eggs like this, via mail, and what your hatch rate was.

Thanks huntress, I had ordered some Brahma's and Cochins about a month ago from my local feed store and was posting on another thread on this forum and there were a couple of people that said that they hated their Brahmas that came from hatcheries and that they were smaller than exhibition birds...
I've had good luck with all my hatchery stock with the exception of a pair of ducks and a couple of chickens. My meanest rooster was not hatchery but home raised.
Is there anyone one this thread who have both production (from a hatchery)Brahms's as well as exhibition Brahms's that could provide a photo for comparison as well as trait differences?????

I have ordered 5 Brahma pullets and 1 rooster along with 5 standard Cochin pullets and 1 rooster from our local feed store. Does anyone have a picture of a brahma and a Cochin together side by side?
