My cat and duck share the same water bowl

My cat and pet duck share the same water bowl and no water what I do they still drink out of the same bowl. I read online that cats have a bacteria that can kill birds. If that is true, how come my duck is still alive all this time?

Bringing a pet chicken to public places?

Thanks for the reminder! I was originally going to either have the chicken wear a diaper or let it poop on the floor of PetSmart (they wouldn’t notice).

Bringing a pet chicken to public places?

So it’s okay my pet chickens don’t get to view the outside world, right?

Bringing a pet chicken to public places?

Would it be better if I just play with my chicken in the backyard, driveway and front lawn?

Bringing a pet chicken to public places?

I think it’s because I want to “show off” my pet hen just like how other pet owners take their dog out too. Maybe I’m just insane and crazy.

Bringing a pet chicken to public places?

(I’m in the west coast of the USA) I’m really tempted to bring my lovely pet hen with me to the petstore and park again, but I am worried about being laughed at. I had a negative encounter many years ago where I brought my previous pet hen to PetSmart and a man said, “Ha! You shouldn’t play with...

    My co-worker is a pheasant

If I continue (everyday) to bring my pet pheasants inside my home during the day and putting them back in their outdoor coop at night, will they eventually learn that I am not a threat? Or should I just give up and not interact with them anymore? From my point of view they seem to be getting...

    Aviary kit available?

I am planning on building an aviary to house my two pheasants inside of. I have built a chicken coop before, but it went over budget and took a while to build. Are there any aviary kits that provide the metal joints and hardware, in which I only have to supply the lumber?

    My co-worker is a pheasant

Thanks. I guess either that or he is in his workplace professional behavior mode.

    My co-worker is a pheasant

He looks behaved in the photos of him perching on the chair, but when he is placed back inside his outdoor coop he runs around like crazy avoiding me.

    My co-worker is a pheasant

Is it normal for my pheasant to act wild in his coop when I try to get him into his crate so I can bring him indoors, but when he is inside my home he acts "tamed"?
