My cat and pet duck share the same water bowl and no water what I do they still drink out of the same bowl. I read online that cats have a bacteria that can kill birds. If that is true, how come my duck is still alive all this time?

If I continue (everyday) to bring my pet pheasants inside my home during the day and putting them back in their outdoor coop at night, will they eventually learn that I am not a threat?

I am planning on building an aviary to house my two pheasants inside of. I have built a chicken coop before, but it went over budget and took a while to build. Are there any aviary kits that provide the metal joints and hardware, in which I only have to supply the lumber?
Is it normal for my pheasant to act wild in his coop when I try to get him into his crate so I can bring him indoors, but when he is inside my home he acts "tamed"?
