    Yes, they need to be cleaned a lot. Thankfully,they are not active, so raising them in a small space should be fine. If it was like a freedom ranger, the prefer to be a lot more active. Hope I helped!!

    Just move him gradually away from you. Like a half foot a day. Our mama pig is just a wall away from her babies. They can't see her, but they did just fine. The mama called for them and was pretty upset the first couple days of separation, but after that, she was fine. I hope I helped!!

    Cornish cross taste and grow better in my opinion, but they spend most of their lives on their butts, not walking around very much. Sometimes the lay in their feces, and get covered in it.     We always put lots of bedding in the coop, once it gets dirty, we put more over it. After it gets pretty high, we clean it all out and restart.

    I've known some chickens that peck each others feathers. We stopped them by putting grease on the wound so the others won't peck. Maybe this is your problem. Hope it helped!
