I had a silkie a bit like this, used a load of q-tips dipped in warm water & gently wiped off the goop before it dried too bad.
His eye, once cleaned up, sorted itself out after a couple of days & by a week old he was totally fluffy

I did have 10 buff, 6 black & 6 lavender orpingtons in the incubator.
I eventually locked down 5 black & 5 buff.
The incubator got turned off accidentally about halfway though, but the remaining 10 eggs were all still alive at lockdown, fingers...

I have 7 buff orps (friends eggs) 3 lavender orps & 6 black orps (both shipped) although my incubator had the plug pulled accidentally overnight & got quite cool, so I may get nothing
Last night the incubator was on fine, cooking away & on day 8-9.
I checked this morning & to my horror it was switched off (lead was yanked out) & the eggs had got down to 24 degrees (75 fahrenheit)
It must have been off for a few hours to cool down that much
I'm so gutted as I'd just candled...
