    Coop floor

    Am following a design in "small coops". It does not discuss the floor of the coop. What should I use - dirt, concrete, patio blocks or????? Thanks for all the help so far - it is appreciated.

    Scratching and coop bottom.

    I have mulch - a mixture of oak, hickory and cedar - can I use it at the bottom of the coop or roosting area?

    I'm as dumb about chickens as I am about computers. This might not be the place to introduce myself, but, I'm Royce from Linn, MO and I'm planning on building a coop (Witchita, "Cabin Coop") this winter and raising three or four chickens next summer. This looks like the place for help.
