    Thank you! Never have had blues before, so this may sound like a stupid question, but are they "blue" at hatch or black then turn blue?

    I've recently introduced Blue Jersey Giant hens into my flock which was previously all Black. Does anyone know what the coloring of the chicks from the Black roo and Blue hen would be? And also, would they be visibly different at hatch so I could tell the pure blacks from the black/blues?
