I know what you mean, I used to think they were ugly ducks, but now I think they're prettying cute! And I do appreciate their lack of loud quacking. The other girls aren't too bad, but now and then they think they have to announce their views to the whole world. -

Thanks, those are very helpful photos! I hadn't realized how different the caruncles were on male and female, and the male's neck looks thicker too. How old are your ducks? All three of ours look more like the females in your pictures. -

I really like my Welsh Harlequins. They are beautiful, friendly, and quite calm for ducks. They outlay chickens, when you count eggs per year, and they can keep laying for longer than chickens.
