    Bloody nostril now wheezing

    I noticed my 17 week old black frizzle bantam had a bloody nostril this morning. She ran around the yard as usual while I cleaned the coop and run. A few hours later I noticed she was wheezing loudly. She seems otherwise normal. Is just just having trouble breathing through an injured nostril...

    Mixing younger pullets with older pullets

    We have 2 x 14 week old production reds and 4 x 10 week old mixed breed bantams. We have a 24 sq foot coop and 68 sq foot run. I would love to let my birds free range in my suburban yard, but my neighbors (many of them) free range :) their cats. Plus we have skunks, raccoons, coyotes, foxes...

    I am questioning the one on the right. This is my first post, and these are my first (of 6) chickens. We have some 9 week old bantams, too. Thanks! I am heading outside to take more pictures.
