    Broody Hen Thread!

    2 of the 4 eggs I gave to my broody hen hatched!! I was able to set up a sweet space for mom and babies to grow! I am sad to see that two did not make it, but thrilled to see that two did! Many lessons learned for the next time! Love this forum...thanks for the advice!!

    Thanks for all the advice!!! I may have to move mom, the two chicks and one unhatched egg inorder to protect them from the flock. Is this a bad idea? Should I put my energies into blocking them off instead?

    There is a type of "goop" in the eye. No nasal drainage, no smell and it has not worsened. It is just not improving and her energy is very low. I will get a picture of her eye today and check out the link you sent. thanks!

    Hen with swelling around eyes and 1 that's bubbling... pics added!!!

    I just saw that one of my girl's has a swollen eye. No bubbles. I did bring in a new hen two weeks ago from a healthy flock. Can you let me know how you obtained the Tylan 50? I hope all worked out well with yours!
