    Chicken toe jam?

    About half my flock has this "toe jam" problem, it’s this really hard build up of dirt? it's all in the same spot on both feat. I remove it and it comes right back. One hen has a hole right through her foot. It only happens to my Barred rock hens, my other breeds don’t seem to get it.

    Male Guineas attacking chicken hens

    We have 7 Guinea fowl, 3 males (about 6 month old) in with our chickens, over the last week or so the male Guineas are attacking the chicken hens. Came close to killing one hen, anyone have any experience with this?

    Hens laying saddled air cells?

    Heres my proses for hatching eggs. I collect the eggs from the nest and put them in a carton, air cell up. They sit for a day or so in the house and then I candle them.

    The chick pip at lest 24h ago, then this morning it's starting to unzipping sideways. UPDATE had to assist the little guy, for some reason it started to dry out, even with the humidity at 71%. It's doing fine now and is just waiting to fluff out :D

    Sorry for the graphic photos. This was right at the bottom of the gizzard and seemed to be blocking any food/water from getting into the small intestine? Her gizzard was full of stones and food, she was drinking quite a bit of water but she was very dehydrated when I did the autopsy. More of...
