Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do. 
Lula, the silkie still broody but no eggs for over a week. She was laying almost everyday and would leave it. I decided this morning to lock her out of the coop awhile since is a very cool morning even we n for FL to cool her but down. It was as hot as a firecracker this morning. I hope this will break the brood up. She is out there eating and scratching. Is this okay to do?
