    Healthy ISA browns

Hello, I have three ISA browns that are almost a year old in need of re homing. I am expecting a new baby and unfortunately will be moving to a place that I won’t be able to keep them. I live in Vallejo, Ca. They currently lay almost everyday and are good producers.

I can hear chirping in the last egg so I am thinking it has internally pipped. I will check tomorrow morning to follow up and see if the fourth chick will make it through. Fingers crossed.

After one of my Easter eggers laid her first six eggs, she decided to go broody! I gave her a total of 10 eggs; 5 pinkish...

How do I reduce egg laying and bring her nutrition if high production back

I am guessing you've had running water and a roof over your head your entire life? You probably live close to a supermarket or place where you can PURCHASE a nice warm meal. In rural areas - access to fast food or even grocery stores are scarce. Since most times people live far out in the...

    UNPOPULAR OPINIONS! 🥴

I must be super lucky. All my hens were broody after their first 6 eggs.

Can't stop buying chicks and eggs

'Cull' is a great substitute for the word 'kill' I would suggest to stop adding chickens to your flock since most of them aren't even old enough to sex. I would be concerned about the hen to rooster ratio as well. What are you plans to keep the chickens fed? Are you in a place where predators...
