    Chick with slipped tendon/swollen hock with sore? Update

    I would like to revive this thread as I'm wonddring what the tendon is i know what the hock is I also have a chick with a sliped tendon how can i fix this can dose anyone have a pic or video to show how to fix this?

    Well I breed 2 Roos with silver leakage to the same black hen with no leakage at different times of course to mix as at that time had 2 Roos and only one hen but is it safe to say that chicks from both breeding are carrying the silver based gene and would be great for the paint project?

    sorry i dont sell silkie eggs as all mine are show Quality and dont want to risk selling my best bird :( but if you ever want some white silkie birds off me i should have some pet quality whites :)

    thanks for all the help its awsome to have this surpport also i agree i wouldnt want to wait 6 months ethier that would mean you would get to many birds to quick and wouldnt be able to unload so you agree that paint on black is deffinteey the way to go :)

    i see looks like paint to black is the definate way to go as for paint to white i heard the paints are amazing but you dont get many and the ones you do get are preety bad quaility and for paint to paint i have seen some nice birds but it seems to add the skin problems and the brown colour

    i see what u mean the one in the first pic has some brown and very light spots and deffinatley isnt as white as the second pic so what breedingd did they both come from im assuming the first came from paint to white and the second one came from paint to black?
