    Thx. Just for us or family. Previous four chickens Amercaun, Columbia, two Red sex link. same feed lovely dark yolks. New four same feed pale. Guess question is do new ones Black Sex link produce paler yolks or just these four?

    Thx so much. These are also dumbest birds. Out in snow just now at 7:30 , won’t roost, just huddle on floor, won’t use nest boxes...they line up to use a corner one at a time to lay, can’t figure out pop bottle treat feeder. Who knows where they would go if out the gate! Thx again

    Four pullets. Black sex link. Laying egg a day about two weeks now. But yolks are pale, like real pale. All eggs. Feed is same as I had previous chickens on and their eggs nice rich yellow. Any suggestions? Nothing appealing to these pale pale eggs.

    Well Ontario Canada not drastically shorter days yet. One other hen and all normal eggs w her.

    18 mos Amercauna. Not laying For a week now. Lively eating drinking all normal sits in nesting box but no eggs. Is it molt time? Some feathers around but nothing noticeable on her. No other changes. do they continue to sit in nesting box during molt?

    Year old hen. Always messy butt. One other hen in coup. Today I bathed the dirty butt. Huge bald spot beneath the mess. No sore no wounds. Not much sign of feathers at all. Is this just from being dirty? Will feathers regrow? Thought she was ugly w dirty butt,now really ugly!

    Is there a Moderately reliable recommendation for least aggressive, least pecking fighting breed? Just had to rehome two of four as the bullying got to bleeding wounds level! Small four bird backyard flock. Good coup run space etc. Two healing and no issues. But if I go back to four or even...
