    I purchased four unsexed white crested black polish chicks from a local feed store three weeks ago. Now two of them are almost twice the size of the other two, all seemed the same size for the first week. Is this any sign that the two larger may be roosters? Thanks ahead of time for any info.

    Wheat grass seed....

    Not on purpose but i did try to reseed a portion of my run that I had fenced off. Well after a couple of days I opened it up and by the next day you would have thought I had run a tiller in there. Had t close off again and reseed. This time I let it grow to about ten inches before letting them in.

    When do chickens lay?

    Mine seem to all lay mostly by noon but sometimes one will lay a little later. They too like to all use the same nest box and I have even caught two at a time in the one box. Lots of luck.
