We got our first egg this morning! I was so excited. I don't know which of the 11 chickens laid it, but she laid it in a nest box, nice and clean. Wow, I was so amazed this morning. My kids think I am nuts and kept saying "you knew they would lay eggs" but until one started, it was just a dream. I know, I am a little weird. I am just happy knowing I won't have to buy eggs anymore!
