    This is our attempt to Raccoon Proof our pen. The pen is 4wide x 4high x 12long. The 4x4 Wire end of the cage is a Door, for major clean-out.   4. The main quail coop, 4x12. hard side on back and roof and one end. Wire on 1 sideand end with door and bottom. Metal roofing as an underpinning. Added wire shelving to outside top and bottom for Raccoon Defense. those suckers climb like cats. The end of the coop 4x4 is a wire covered DOOR, for major clean-out. small door for daily water jug. I placed a sheet of plastic window screen on the inside of the drop down door we use to put water in daily and it has saved birds, from flying out during water jug exchange. I put chain on the door so it only opens 2/3 way open but gives enough access to clear a water jug. Had to go back and add metal to the 4x4 end door, but made it so I can curl out the top half of metal in the day for ventilation.
