    peeping!!!

    I only had one egg :( it is partially blind in one eye, but is so hyper that it jumped out of the brooder box(by climbing the water jug) and followed me to my kitchen! It didn't peep when it followed me and peeped once it bit my toe!! It can see just fine, but I'm a little worried about it.

    I knoticed that there is a grayish spot in my day old chick's eye, he/she has been keeping it closed, but opens it when I come to the brooder box. Is the eye blind?

    The chick has been lifting the shell of the egg and part of the bits of shell fell off, revealing the membrane, it is dry. I put some water on it and it dried within 5 minutes, what should I do?

    It just knocked off a bigger piece of shell and is now poking at the membrane.

    Mine is being slow, very slow he/she is peeping and moving the egg a lot, but not making much progress. I can finally see the membrane, just a sliver...... hope it hatches!!!
