    But isn't a battery hen a hen that is kept in cage not much bigger than the hen? I would say they definitely need rescued.

    My gander has a pretty embarrassing issue going on with his private parts. They seem to be hanging out and he just acts like doesn't feel well. I'm attaching a picture as well. He also holds his wing down sometimes. Any thoughts on what I can do?

    . Here is a picture of Ricky. The other side of his face is a little worse but I couldn't get a good pic. I've been adding ACV to his water bucket. Anything else I can do for him?

    Thank you for the reply. I give him and my ducks a fresh 5 gallon bucket of water everyday. It doesn't take long for it to freeze. I'll try the ACV. His eyes look good. I'll try to get a picture of him.

    My 15 year old male goose is losing its feathers around his eyes. Our indiana winter has been very harsh. Could it be weather related?

    I have a 15 year old goose that seems to be losing feathers under his eyes and between them. Any ideas on what is causing it? We have had a very harsh winter here in indiana. Could it be weather related?
