    They started hatching yesterday morning and we left them til this afternoon when it started to get a bit crowded. So we grabbed a couple out at a time just like you say.

    I was wondering about that, I thought we should but I was told not to open it til after the hatching period because it can cause the membrane to stick and hurt any that haven't hatched at the time.

    Hey everyone, I am new here and we are currently hatching for our first time. We had 24 in our incubator and I know for sure at least 13 hatched. I am so excited for the waiting period to be over so I can open the incubator and see my little munchkins.

    We are hatching quail for the first time and they started yesterday morning. We have a timer set to take them out, but I noticed one was stuck where the egg Turner used to be so I got the others to move to the other side (they follow the light) and opened the lid about 2 inches and got baby...
