We are hatching quail for the first time and they started yesterday morning. We have a timer set to take them out, but I noticed one was stuck where the egg Turner used to be so I got the others to move to the other side (they follow the light) and opened the lid about 2 inches and got baby quail out. She was completely dry at the time, it was open less than a minute, humidity never got below 60 but I am still nervous. What do I need to look for? The only little peephole is about 4 inches on one side so I can't see very well if any are left to hatch and it's hard to count them since they all come running to me when I talk to them.
