    I have an older hen about 7 or 8 years old. She stopped laying about 3 years ago and the last six months she's gone through mysterious illnesses that caused runny poop and her to stop eating.     Is hens comb too pale?

    I feel like she started out bright red but over the last few months I think it's become very pale. She's been laying and acting normal so I haven't done anything yet and her poo seems fine. I don't see mites. Thanks!

    Girl or boy black giant?

    I've been raising this chick for a few weeks now and am pretty new to chickens. Does anyone know what gender it is? Either one would be fine but I am curious! It was from a straight run bin at atwoods.
