    My one month old bantam cochin is not eating and loosing weight. His droppings are alright and not showing anyother symptoms. He has been standing in one corner with ruffled feathers. Pls advice what should i do..Vet would be difficult to go to. Thanks

    He is a bit better and started eating and drinking on his own. Two days back my father gave him metronidazole, perhaps that worked. But he only likes to eat grains and doesnt eating any othet stuff. I am not force feeding him. Hope he recovers soon. Thanks and will keep u posted.

    Black Head is likely with bright yellow diarrhea. Anything that affects the liver severely can cause that but it's a pretty standard symptom for BH.     Thanks. Vet won't be possible where i live. If epsom salt is not available would regular table salt do? He has been drinking water on his own and i am giving him tetracycline. I am not sure if its a gram positive or negative infection. :(
