Overbreeding
it seems I've run into a problem my RIR roo seems to really be over breeding a couple hens do i have to get more hens i have about 10? i don't know what to do here.. the feathers on there back are almost completely gone.. ^^ sorry but i didn't realy know how to word this any advice is...- samygwin9

TOO HOT!!
my chickens are panting terribly! i fear them getting dehydrated! Is there anything i can do to cool them down? give them some thing? ii'm realy worried! any and all advise is helpful!- samygwin9

guess who payed me a vist last night? a cyote! scared me to death too! thanks to my australian sheperd ,Lucky, none of the chickens got hurt. she chased him off before he could even try to get in the coop. good girl Lucky!!!- samygwin9

I always put a heat lamp out at night until about 8 weeks just to be on the safe side. call me over protective but I love my chickies!- samygwin9
