    I keep checking on her and I'm seeing what looks like discharge from her swollen vent.

    I looked at her vent and then looked at another chickens vent and the sickly chickens vent looks bad. She has what looks like little grains of salt in bunches stuck to her and also her comb had two dark red spots on it looks like blood spots.

    Thank you! I started wondering about that one bc when I got them they were sexed and the man I bought them from said he had no rir that we're roosters so he gave me a buff rooster. I believe I ended up with a buff rooster too.

    Both my RIR had this happen to them. I had to keep cleaning their butts and put them in the run on the ground for a little bit during the day. It took a couple days but it finally cleared up.
