    Thanks for the post. I just had a chick hatch from a big egg and seems to have a sore and bit of blood on its behind. Would it be okay to use hydrogen peroxide to dry the wound? I have kept it in the incubator away from the others - which have all hatched fine.

    tyvm - I pulled the plug a little while ago and the humidity is going down the heater is just working a little harder to maintain the temperature - but so far so good. Thanks again

    Yes, it has one. I was afraid that this would cause the temperature to go down.

    I just purchased a Hova Bator and filled the outer ring with water (as per the directions) I have not put in my eggs yet, however, I can't seem to get the humidity below 64%. Will the humidity decrease when I add the eggs? I'm going to try removing more of the water.
