    Update for anyone who might stumble on this: the white chicken lays blue eggs and the gray chicken lays green! They both started laying around 23-24 weeks.

    Expanded run through the woods

    I really wish I could have a rooster but sadly I can’t This is definitely my worry, what is going to magically appear in these woods lol. I have less than an acre total and the woods are bordered on two sides by roads near the coop, so it’s not super rural which will probably work in my favor.

    Thanks for sharing your experience. I really can’t tell about the pea combs but definitely no blue/black/slate legs.
