    I'd not noticed the leg colour either! Thank you for pointing this out, at least i know what breed they are. Are you 100% both are cockerels? Need to try to sort out alternative accommodation if they are.

    Thank you. I'm hoping you're right. They both hold themselves differently. Plus number 1 (who i am sure is a cockerel) is outgoing and confident whereas number 2 is quite low in the pecking order and much more nervous.

    They were sold as barred Plymouth rocks by a breeder but not sure how reliable that is. Here's a pic of them when little if that helps??

    So after talking about buying some day old chicks, my hubby came home with 14 mixed breed chicks. Apparently the man he bought them from did tell him the breeds but he's forgotten ‍♀️. They're a week old today and i wondered if anyone would be so kind as to try and help me work out who is what?
