    Using a red light in chicken coop?

    Does it disturb the chickens to keep a red heating light in their coop when it gets cold? Also, at what temperatures do I need to use the lamp in to make sure they keep producing eggs?

    Chicken stopped laying eggs?

    I have six chickens and they all were laying eggs for about 2 weeks, but then one seems to have completely stopped laying, because now we only get 5 eggs every day. The one that stopped laying is a tetra tint, if that helps. Does anyone know why a chicken would stop laying eggs?

    How far will chickens wander from coop?

    I let my chickens out to foarage every now and then and they go out pretty far... how far from the coop will they travel? Also, are there any ways to keep them near the coop, and will they run away and never come back?

    My gold comets just started laying eggs, and they have small white spots all over them. When the eggs get wet, they go away until they dry off. Will they always be like this or eventually will the spots go away?

    How many eggs possible per day?

    Yesterday I met a lady at TSC and unless I misheard her, she said her chickens would lay five eggs each every day! I was just wondering if that's possible, and if it is, how could I get my chickens to lay more than one egg each day?
