My gold comets just started laying eggs, and they have small white spots all over them. When the eggs get wet, they go away until they dry off. Will they always be like this or eventually will the spots go away?

Sometimes the pigment doesn't get applied evenly. With pullets it may stop as they get the kinks worked out. There are those that just keep doing it.

Our hens are 2 years so have been laying for a while

Our 2 Barred Rocks- light brown
Our EE- not the best layer but green with lumps of extra shell at top
Our other EE- Lays brown spotted eggs
Our orps- somewhat dark clean (for lack of a better word) eggs
Our brahma- Varies greatly. Typically really round compared to others and spotted
Our RIR- Large brown eggs (clean)

Thats how our hens lay. As the person above stated- Some will keep doing it, some wont

Does it matter to you if they keep doing it?
