This thing fell out of our chicken! It's all egg shell with some "slime" and a small amount of blood. She's acting lethargic. Any ideas as to what the heck is going on? Thank you for you time

My girls eat everything. I give them scratch here and there. None of them eat the small brown-ish balls (I have 6). I'm wondering what is? Curios why none of them like. Anyone have thoughts on this or experience the same.

I get like 3 a month. I have no idea how old she is because she was a rescue. They cut her beak so sometimes she has a hard time with the oyster shells. Thank u for you response. I'm new to all this. Just making sure she's ok.

We have two small dogs and a cat. They all free range with our chicks! Everyone gets along great. I think it helps that we had the chicks living in our house for a couple weeks. Well it all started with rescuing two leghorn's. One died so we got three chicks one RIR one Barred Rock and a black Astralorp (not sure if that's spelled right). Anyway totally new to the whole chicken wold for only about two months now but we're loving it.

Thank you. We rescued an adult chicken then got the chicks. This is our first time having chickens. I'm worries about roosters.
