    So she's not long started laying eggs (got her as a duckling summer20) but they are usually blueish... This startled me!!!

    Help!!! This morning I found this egg on the floor of the coop.. my usual duck eggs on the right, cant see it being a hen eggs as Iv bantams but never received an egg like this before, I have little black call ducks though I believed to be Pomeranians. #clueless #ducks #blackeggs

    Mink not leaving after attack!

    This just happened us at the weekend also.. got 18neighbouring chickens our hen houses are only about 50yards from eachother... Freaking out its killed all hers will come after mine next😭😭

    Help Rooster attacking my Duck!!

    Im feeling sorry for him on his own especially with winter setting in as this bunch just love to huddle up together.. Do u think hes ok alone? Obviously the duck cannot roost with them at night but she sits underneath them and snuggled up whilst sunbathing outside.. She's happy as larry again...

    What is this duck breed?

    She's very like our duck and i believe she is a pomeranian.. our girl has a black beak and feet though with nice iridescent green sheen to her also with the white bib.. il try find some good pictures.. I googled the life out of her a thought the Pomeranian was the best fit but maybe im wrong??

    So our flock is 6months old now 1rooster 6hens and 1duck.. I have to say the duck up untill now has been the boss protector of the flock but last week we noticed she started staying in the coup hoovering at the door agitated but wouldn't come out so i forced her out to make sure she ate drank...

    My flock is about same age as yours, we were unsure what we had got but i think my rooster is similar to your pictures and im pretty sure hes a he as he's try to crow now funniest like "ah roo-ah roo" yep im talking chicken now 😂

    Ohh really thanks i must look into these breeds, yes we were also given duck eggs but none hatched and i feel she needs a friend, each evening id hear the duck make a commotion and id run look and it was always that the chickens had gone to roost and left her. So now iv added a lower roost both...

    Aww thanks soo much, we are still finding our feet ensuring we have all their needs met, sometimes just as im reading stuff it might say something specific to certain breeds and i feel so bad i dont even know what they are! A Google image search is hitting me up with different breeds each time...

    No clue.. this man is the complete sterotype if i tell ya he lives hundreds of miles away remotely on his own usually only visits once a year i was shocked he came back the following week!! No telephone ect 🙈
