I know there's a hand in the shot, so if that disqualifies the pic from the contest that's fine, but this little guy was too cute not to share with y'all! 🥰 Presenting baby Zipper!
Hey all! Just to let the community know these chaps have been successfully re-homed, and are sadly no longer available for sale.
I'm not sure how to delete the original thread, so hopefully this update will suffice.
Thanks again to anyone who expressed an interest. :-)
Thank you so much! So sweet of you. Yes, I’m really attached to these little chaps already and it’s not going to be easy letting them go. I’ve also got them listed on Craigslist (hate to do that but I have to do everything I can to re-home them) and I’ve had a few people asking about them from...
Hey all!
I have 3 beautiful Silkie roosters for sale - $5 each.
They’re are gorgeous healthy birds, hand raised to be pets and companion animals, NOT FOR FOOD, however we are only zoned to keep hens in my area so I need the lads gone ASAP.
Local pickup only (sorry no shipping) from Fresno...
I can take the Silkie to add to my flock of other silkies, but I’m in California so we would have to sort out a way to ship. Also I can’t take any roos, so it would have to be a hen.
Again, thank you so much. The other party ended up taking the rooster, so I’m afraid he is no longer available. I do want you to know how much I appreciated your wanting to give him a home though. If only this world had more kind people like you. Thank you.
Thank you so much. He really needs a good, safe, & loving home. He’s such a sweetheart. I have one other person that expressed an interest, and I’m waiting to see if they come through on their offer tomorrow. If they drop out I’ll let you know ASAP, and he can be yours.
Handsome grey and white Silkie roo in need of a good home. Approx 6 mo old, very sweet & friendly, comes to his name, and trained to return to his roost at night. The city of Fresno CA allows the keeping of hens, but not roos, and we got him by mistake with a batch of hens from a breeder who...
Pretty much asking the masses what the title suggests: Can anyone tell me if my Silkie chicken looks like a hen or a roo? It has long feathers on the back of its head like a roo, but it doesn’t crow, and it doesn’tstand up straight like Roos are supposed to do. It stands level like he rest of my...
Thank you for your quick replies. @ECSandCCFS, I didn’t know there was a “What Breed Or Gender” forum. I’m very new to using this site. I’ll see if I can’t figure out how to close this thread and post a fresh one there. And thank you AlleysChicks, when I post I’ll try to have better photos...
