    Hi Miss Lydia Re Dicky the Duck.. lol.. I have managed to re-insert his pecker, but it keeps prolapsing when he poops.. I still have him seperate and will keep trying though.. would it be a good idea to give him something like Triple C antibiotics to help prevent infection..?

    Thanks for the replies everyone, but my apologies, I was too caught up trying to help the next lot that had pipped and were suffocating under drying membrane to grab any pics... I think you are correct though, as it's a little higher up than the vent..? I kept the two babies that had it seperate...

    Thanks Altfrizzle, have him under a heat lamp and although he's weak he seems to be doing ok... Will be keeping an eye on him till he's 100% then hopefully he can go back with mum

    Emergency! Broken bill! *update, it's fine now*

    This thread is my Bible.. my Muscovy Drake has injured his bill, almost snapping of his "fingernail" like bit, and its just hanging loose..?? We have a vet appointment this afternoon, till then I have him resting quietly.. omg do they bleed LOTS with Bill injuries..!!

    HELP...!!! I just found My Muscovy Drake has injured his bill somehow and almost ripped the "fingernail" like bit off the top..?? he has bled quite a bit by the look of the coop, but it's stopped now and his broken bill bit is just hanging off.. i can't get him to a vet till this afternoon...
