    I have had this chick along with my others for about 2 weeks now almost 3. It is pecking on itself, won't stand very long. Eats and drinks normally. But now has a swollen butt and breathes weird. I don't know what it is.

    My baby chick keeps laying down a lot, even to drink and eat. She walks sometimes like she wont stand all the way. When I stand her up she sits down in like a couple seconds. Sometimes she doesnt even lay with the other chicks. What could this be?

    What about the reason for why she is laying down so much. she lays down and eats, and she doesn't stand up all the way when she walks. When i stand her up she sits down in like a couple seconds.
