I'm wondering the same thing. I got a batch in late july (6 1/2 months ago). All are laying except a buff orpingington. She is healthy, beautiful, healthy and friendly, but no eggs. Hmmmm?

My 10 year old lady still lays 2 eggs a week in the summer! She's best friends to the kitty the rest of the year. She teaches the little girls how to be good chickens.

I have a buff orphington that is 6 1/2 months old. I got her as a 2 day old baby. The rest of her batch is laying. Mine is a loser? She is active, beautiful, friendly, but no eggs. I've even checked the yard (under 6" of snow) and there no hidden nests. What do ya think?

My baby is 5 weeks old now. I can’t see the bright red comb yet. I’m SO hoping this is a girl. She is so darn cute.
